Social media has become an insanely useful tool over the past few years in terms of marketing and advertising – we all know that. Plenty of articles, blogs and other social media hounds have already touched on this topic.

Unfortunately they all focus on the business side of the equation: how to promote yourself/your company, how to create an audience, how to create an image for yourself. What about the rest of the day? That is, assuming that you sleep eight hours and give yourself some time when you aren’t working on your social media business strategy. So, from someone who plays in both the shallow and deep ends of the social media pool, here are a few rules to live by.
